ApolloFourtyOne was a clothing re-cycling project. I like to describe it as a side project that got wildly out of hand, as it ran for about three years and ended in a charity art exhibition.
The initial idea was to see if I could upcycle a jacket by putting an illustration on the back. I posted the first few to instagram and the audience grew enough to merit its own online presence. All the jackets were donated to op-shops to sell, and the money raised from sales at the exhibition was donated to InsideOUT.
I was also lucky enough to be featured in Counter Journal about the project, which was a real honor.
