Out on the Shelves is a week long celebration of Rainbow and LGBTQIA+ characters and plot-lines in books at schools and public libraries across New Zealand. As part of a branding suite, I put together a logo and a set of patterns that celebrate both the inclusivity and the celebratory nature of the event. Both the logo and the patterns were designed to work in the colours of the flags used by multiple different gender identities and sexualities. Alongside the branding suite, I put together a set of bookmarks for the campaign.
